UAH 3,575.00 was allocated for the additional medical examination of a beneficiary from the Avramenko Family-Type Orphanage supported by our foundation.

During a scheduled check-up within the Healthy Journey project, the girl reported not only recurring headaches but also pain in the leg area. To clarify the potential causes, we promptly initiated further diagnostics, including a soft-tissue ultrasound of the coccyx area to assess the depth and nature of the formation, as well as a follow-up appointment at our medical partner, Universum Clinic.

During the consultation, the neurologist recommended maintaining a pain diary, regular walks, and prescribed medication. The dermatologist diagnosed an autoimmune genetic condition, prescribed topical treatment, and referred the beneficiary for additional laboratory tests conducted at the DILA laboratory, which included:

● Complete capillary blood count (31 indicators)
● Lactate dehydrogenase
● Gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase
● Creatinine
● Urea
● C-reactive protein (quantitative)
● Alanine aminotransferase
● Aspartate aminotransferase

The current treatment regimen is already showing positive results; however, the girl will continue to receive regular medical monitoring from the specialists of our partner clinic.
