Over the past six years, TulSun Foundation, together with its partners, has changed the future of 2,300 children. Today, almost 350 children from six social institutions of the Kyiv region are under the monthly TulSun`s care and need constant support.

In the early 2000s, TulSun Foundation started as a corporate social responsibility department within the global audit company ControlPay. Dutch founder Karel Kinds, after opening his first office in Kyiv, identified an additional priority for his business – to have a positive social impact and help children in need. The foreign management of the company was aware of how different the economic status of Ukraine was from their homeland, and how desperately some Ukrainian children needed help.

Since 2017, TulSun Foundation has acquired the status of an independent charitable organization, the direct aim of which is to help socially vulnerable children. The foundation does not have any hidden political, governmental or religious affiliations, as well as close ties with similar organizations. Our mission is shared by such global corporations as ACER, GlobalLogic, PUMA, Accuracy, as well as local businesses and volunteers. TulSun Foundation aims to provide long-term and tangible assistance in all spheres of children’s lives.

TulSun Foundation is two countries that have come together to bring happiness and positive change to the lives of socially vulnerable Ukrainian children. These are two national flower symbols: the Dutch tulip and the Ukrainian sunflower, which have come together to create TulSun Foundation.
