The project aims to improve the lives of children with disabilities from three social institutions of the Kyiv region, which are under the care of the TulSun Foundation:
- Mostishchen Special Secondary School – Boarding Level I-II;
- Fastiv Training and Rehabilitation Center;
- Trypillya Training and Rehabilitation Centre.
The goal of the project is to provide the disabled kids of these institutions with the medical rehabilitation, сorrectional equipment, Montessori room and educational materials to improve children`s health, giving them the tools, they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
The rehabilitation program of the project was founded in partnership with BRAIN STIMULATION CENTER. This program is developed by experienced clinic specialists to improve the quality of life, develop mobility of the musculoskeletal system and ensure their mental health and development. The program is designed according to the individual rehabilitation plan of each child for the year.
What the project does?
- Rehabilitation
The project provides rehabilitation services to help children with disabilities regain their mobility, develop their fine motor skills, and improve their overall physical health.
- Equipment
The project provides funds to purchase necessary equipment such as equipment for medical physical culture, positional chair, sensory (interactive) floor, and others that help children with disabilities to enhance the social and developmental skills.
- Montessori Room
The project aims to create Montessori rooms in specialized social institutions for children with disabilities. This room is furnished with corrective equipment and materials that help the children develop their cognitive, sensory, and social skills, as well as adapt to self-care in adulthood.
- Materials for Training
The project provides funds to purchase materials needed for training, such as textbooks, educational videos, materials for the creature and other learning aids. This helps to ensure that children with disabilities have access to quality education and can develop the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
