Visit to the 21-3 Dutch Bakery

On 13 November, the TulSun team visited the 21-3 Dutch Bakery, where kids with Down Syndrome and other developmental problems learn to become real professionals!

We had a chance to talk to these wonderful children, that study within the framework of the 21-3 Perspective project from the National Charity Organization "Down Syndrome". Starting from March 2018, the kids have worked as interns so that they can get their first job in the following year.

Children in 21-3 Dutch Bakery can learn to work in several job positions: baker's assistant, packing specialist, waiter or salesperson assistant. The bakery itself, apart from its business and employment role, also helps with the socialization of Sunny children, which are often isolated from society by specialized instutions or their family apartments.

Anyone who buys these truly delicious baked goods (we could barely stop ourselves when sampling the brownies!) supports children with Down Syndrome, as part of the bakery's profits are directed at creating jobs for special needs children and individuals.

If you wish to order some croissants, brownies, bread or any of the other amazing baked goods for your office, home or event, all you need to do is contact us or the bakery!
