Gifts can be different. Some are about Christmas joy. Some are about giving the opportunity for a brighter future.
On December 13, we were happy to be giving the latter! The team of Tulsun Foundation traveled to Fastiv city, to the “Wings of Hope” educational-rehabilitation center for special needs children. This day, we celebrated the opening of the center’s Montessori program – a project that we accomplished together with charity foundation MANUS DEI. The honor of commencing the festivities fell to the heads of the foundations: our very own CEO, Olga Rudych and to Manus Dei's Andriy Parhomenko.
Montessori is an amazing way to help the development of special children, as it teaches through sensory input and creativity: touch, sound, smell, color and the overall freedom to feel and explore!
It’s difficult to describe how proud we are of this project, as we managed to accomplish the training of the center’s teaching staff within the Montessori system with the help of our own amazing specialist. This integrated the concept of the Montessori classroom as an educational tool for the Fastiv center. We’re also incredibly thankful to the Manus Dei foundation as it was their financial backing that made possible the repairs, renovations and purchasing of specialized Montessori equipment! It’s amazing to be working together with such sincere, generous and passionate people.
The day passed in a kaleidoscope of smiling faces, children opening presents, and the incredible kindness and care shown to the kids by the Fastiv center’s staff – truly extraordinary people that have dedicated their life’s work to the children.
Days like these, when we can celebrate such accomplishments is what motivates us, the entire Tulsun team to keep going and make the world a better place!
